You might want to back off on talking about it if your therapist is beginning to touch on something that’s hard for you. It could be that it’s painful to consider or that you genuinely feel you don’t know the much deeper answers that they’re searching for. If you only allow them in on half of the information, your development will be prevented.
It’s your therapist’s goal to assist you make development in the locations that you’re having a hard time with. This does not suggest that you need to pour out every detail of your life, but make sure that the information you are sharing is true. David Pakman Better Help
